いくら？　いつまで？

役所から届いた書類を撮るだけです。何の書類で、いくらで、いつまでか、そして放っておくとどうなるかをお伝えします。

写真は端末の外に出ません。文字の読み取りはすべて端末の中で行われ、アカウント登録もありません。

できること

住民税・国民健康保険・国民年金・NHK・公共料金などの書類を判別します
払込票のバーコードから、金額と納期限を正確に読み取ります
納期限の前にお知らせします。残りの日数と、遅れた場合に起きることも表示します
均等割・課税標準額・特別徴収など、書類に出てくる言葉を説明します
引っ越し・出産・退職・帰国のときに必要な手続きと期限を、一覧で確認できます
レシートを整理して、確定申告用の CSV として書き出せます

言葉は、好みの問題です

日本語・やさしい日本語・English・Tiếng Việt から選べます。均等割や課税標準額は日本の方にとっても日常の言葉ではなく、自治体が日本語で「納税通知書の見方」を配っているほどです。Kaku は日本にお住まいのすべての方のためのアプリで、読みやすい言葉を選べるようにしているだけです。

帰国される方へ

日本を離れるとき、納めた年金の一部を脱退一時金として受け取れる場合があります。請求できるのは、日本に住所がなくなってから2年以内です。この期限を過ぎると請求できません。Kaku は必要な手続きと期限を一覧で示し、公式の案内ページへご案内します。

Kaku が行わないこと

Kaku は書類を整理して説明します。申告の代行や、個別の税務相談は行いません。税理士法第52条により、これらは無償であっても税理士の独占業務とされているためです。公表されている制度の内容をお伝えし、公式ページをご案内するところまでを担います。

What is this letter?
How much? By when?

Photograph a letter from a government office. Kaku tells you what it is, how much it costs and when it is due — and what happens if you ignore it.

Photos never leave your device. Text recognition runs entirely on your phone, and there is no account to create.

What it does

Recognises residence tax, national health insurance, pension, NHK and utility notices
Reads the amount and the due date exactly, from the payment barcode rather than by guessing at the text
Reminds you before the deadline — with the days remaining, and what follows if you miss it
Explains the words on the page: 均等割, 課税標準額, 特別徴収 and the rest
Lists what you must do, and by when, if you move, have a baby, change jobs or leave Japan
Organises receipts and exports them as CSV for a tax return

Language is a preference, not an identity

Choose 日本語, やさしい日本語, English or Tiếng Việt. Terms like 均等割 and 課税標準額 are not everyday vocabulary for Japanese readers either — municipalities publish guides in Japanese explaining how to read a tax notice, for exactly that reason. Kaku is for everyone living in Japan; it simply lets you pick the words you read most easily.

If you are leaving Japan

When you leave, you may be able to claim part of your pension back as a lump-sum withdrawal payment (脱退一時金). You have two years from the day you stop having an address in Japan. After that it cannot be claimed at all. Kaku lists the steps and deadlines and links you to the official pages.

What Kaku does not do

Kaku organises and explains documents. It does not file tax returns and does not advise on your particular situation. Under Article 52 of the Certified Public Tax Accountant Act those are reserved to licensed 税理士 — including when done for free. Kaku explains what published rules say and points you to the official page.
